Description
Experienced pilot in familiar location, started a 360 spiral too close (~50m relative altitude) to the ground and did not survive the impact.
2022 was a particularly dry winter in Haute-Maurienne, with a very thin, less forgiving cover of snow, and many pilots only getting back to speed-riding after two years off due to the mandatory Covid-related closure of French ski resorts in 2020 and 2021.
