Description
A French speedrider from Chambéry was found dead near Chamonix at the bottom of an ice cliff (sérac) around 13:00 on Thursday 27 December 2018.
After a friend flying first lost sight of him, the PGHM mountain rescuers found him at about 3100m altitude, between the Bossons glacier and the Mont Blanc du Tacul. Based on video footage, his canopy was tossed around while taking off from the col du Midi at about 3500m altitude.
